Schweinfurth Art Center opened to the public in May of 1981 because of generosity of local architect Julius A. Schweinfurth.

Quilts=Art =Quilts
November 2, 2008 - January 4, 2009.
The Art Center's annual juried quilt exhibition. The exhibition is open to all quilters.

Both Ends of the Rainbow
January 25 - March 8, 2009.
Artwork by students in grades K - 12 from Cayuga County and local senior citizens.

Quilting by
the Lake 2009
July 19 - 31, 2009.

Offering over 30 quilting classes for traditional & art quilters at all levels.
